Do you think Baylor University have better history program than University of Houston and University of North Texas?

It is better than UH and UNT but it isn’t worth paying 30k+ more a year for. (unless you can afford it)

Baylor is better known for its graduate programs, but it can also give very good money for its undergrad if you qualify.

Baylor Gang or Die

money is not a problem for me

My daughter is starting her sophomore year at Baylor. She has a dual major in religion and psychology and participates in the Honors program. Baylor has outstanding educational resources. They go out of their way to make freshmen feel at home on campus, with the Baylor Line and summer Line Camp being fun and worth it! Baylor’s academic rankings continue to climb, and the university has a strong connection and involvement within the Waco community. Yes, Waco isn’t Dallas, Austin or Houston, but it has it’s own unique charm and my daughter LOVES both the university and Waco. She’s heavily involved in community outreach projects and is an active member of the Baylor Activities Council. Baylor may have 16,000 students, but it works hard to make each of them all feel apart of the Baylor family. The university also offers excellent merit awards and financial aid. We are proud to be a part of the Baylor family. Sic 'em, Baylor!!

I am applying to Baylor and really like it. It is considered better than UNT or UH. I am not sure how good it is. I have known some people who hated it and felt they were getting a poor education. I still like it so I am applying for the honors college.

Google search this site for Baylor, and you will see plenty of opinions about the school.
