<p>I was thinking about going to bc and tranfering to uw because i heard transferring from a community college to uw was easier than from a regular college. so is bc considered a community when it used to be?</p>

<p>Bellevue College recently dropped the ‘Community’ from their title, but they still are primarily in the business of issuing Associate’s degrees for transfer students. Bellevue now offers a couple of Bachelor’s degrees, so they decided to change their name, but that will not affect any students who go there to transfer later to UW.</p>
