Is big high school a disadvantage?

I go to a very big high school in Arizona (around 3700 students) and there are 900 kids in my junior year class. Even though I am in the (barely) top five percent, I am ranked 39 out of 900 students…should i have just gone to a small school where I could have been ranked like 2 of 100? There is another high school close to where I live which is also public, but smaller and less competitive as a whole…

I live in Phoenix, so my school isn’t actually considered exceptionally big but i found out recently it is pretty big compared to alot of other cities

I’ve never heard of it making any difference.

Small schools can have disadvantages too, like there not being enough students interested to offer even one section of a class, or there not being enough high level students to offer certain APs.
