I am also in the situation where my family may not be able to pay, but we have not done an appeal yet because we don’t think that they will give us any money because we don’t qualify for any aid according to FAFSA and CSS. Is the significant amount of money that they gave you merit based or did they classify it as need based. If it is need based, maybe It would be worth it for me to try.
