The problem with the above suggestion is that you still register after all the CalSO sessions.

Yeah, international has to be tough, but it isn’t like you won’t have any classes at all to choose from, they just might not be at the times you would have preferred them. It’s just one semester, though, i’m sure it’ll be ok.

I am flying across the US on my boyfriend’s skymiles, I am very fortunate because otherwise it would’ve been a tough call and I might not have made it as flying is expensive.

-A

Well, if you’re an international student, that is completely a different story. Of course, you always could fly into SFO and do the Berkeley CalSO then fly to Hawaii and vacation here in U.S. :)

Chemeng1: Your bf is definitely a cool person to let you use the skymiles.

just wondering chemeng1 is you bf going to berkeley? if not isn’t that going to be a hard long distance relationship?

shucks im gonna end up with everyone’s left over classes…im int’l and no way can i afford to make it for calso. :(

They’re going to ‘mail’ our telebears information in early july. If they mail it to third world countries, its useless because we’ll miss the deadline altogether.

oh great. that sucks miqdad. cry

Hold on a minute…they’re probably going to e-mail; Berkeley rarely mails stuff…hahaha…cheaper with e-mail. Housing offers are my e-mail as well.

Are you sure?
I’m worried about the housing offer as well, because if they mail it, ill miss the deadline. I don’t think they can email housing offers, i think you have to sign them and attach a cheque.
It said ‘mail’ in both places, but i hope they email.

Well, when I filed my housing app, they said that I better have an e-mail account that is active and I check often because my housing offer will be from there.

And I’m pretty sure Cal is pretty understanding if you’re an international student.

Yes, i’m very lucky. He is also moving with me:)
