Hello! I am currently a senior in high school looking to apply to multiple Universities in October. I was wondering if going to California Baptist is worth going to? I know that they’re accredited, but do employers and graduate schools usually dismiss people who got their degrees at CBU? Right now I’m looking at getting a BS in Civil Engineering if that helps at all.

What matters most is what you do at the school.
CBU is ABET-accredited for Civil Engineering.
If you’re religious, it’s a good school. If you’re not religious, it may not be for you and you may prefer one of the many ABET-accredited civil engineering programs in CA, such as Cal Poly SLO, CPP, Chico (good Honors program, more residential than the other CSUs), Long Beach, Fullerton, SDSU, SJSU, Santa Clara, LMU-LA, UoPacific… not to mention the UC’s.
