Is CC Parent Cafe becoming boring?

no ticket for mine, but she is trying to recover from the plague…

The plague??? Hmm, that’s a loaded comment. What kind of plague? Is that the interminable crud that continues on forever, or is it the teenager-going-to-torment-you-forever plague? Hopefully something milder than either of those curses!

I always enjoy going back and re-reading the threads after the sunshine crew arrives. They often have a surreal effect and the jokes don’t make sense. Or the context. It’s like stepping into a dream world.

Whatever it is, I gather everyone on campus has it. (slight exaggeration) Hopefully it’s on its way out!

Send a little sunshine our way, Samurai. ;-)

Sorry about the username. If I told you we had a cold winter in Florida would you feel better? It’s been so cold for two years running that much of my wonderful Florida foilage is dead. And I have been in this home for 25+ years with the same foliage.

And I am not a guy, sorry. And as a middle aged non-guy, I am NOT easy on the eyes, so I keep my clothes on. I don’t even like to get into a one-piece bathing suit anymore…

Hi everyone! Back to the original question…NOT boring…miss it very much now that I don’t have time to post or read. And now I know why I block certain people…(not many…honest).
In the 70s around here this weekend…can’t wait to get on my bike!

I"ve never blocked anyone. I’ve never even been that annoyed with anyone on this site. I like all the opinions and differing ways of being, though if I were to put together groups for dinner parties from CC, I think I would want to sit at the kids table 35% of the time.

One time I blocked someone, but they kept saying things I would read and find interesting when I wasn’t logged in and then I would want to respond, so I unblocked them and then never noticed another post they made.

Not a blocker.

If I block one - does that make me a blocker? Or maybe a tackler? :)

Spouse says lineman.

Probably just makes you more discerning than me! Also, more of a passer.

Forget the blockers and tacklers. After listening to the revenues in football, I’d prefer to be an owner.

Although I have to admit I’ve always been interested in knowing how self-respecting men identify themselves as “tight ends” and keep a straight face.

Okay, sunnyflorida, keep your clothes on, then! Hey, I look at the positive aspect of having declining eyesight is that I can’t see myself so well in the mirror anymore.

There you go again, bragging about that sunshine, Samurai. Jeez!

The only person who I ever blocked was Jandra. Who kept restating things that people said (and later explained or backed down from), or paraphrasing things that were never said, in an attempt to change the argument and pretend people were saying things they weren’t. An obviously intelligent person, who was also a “cyberbully” wasn’t worth the irritation of bothering to read her posts.

Nothing wrong with a man having a tight end, now is there, hayden?

:p …

Busdriver, the problem is not in having a tight end, but in bragging about it.

When you have a tight end, you do not need to advertise, as it will be already generally known. Or, as the wise man might say, he who has tight end not need to walk backwards.

I have a few on my list, including Jandra. I tend to wonder if they were the same person.

Even when I did use the button, I tended to still take a peek at posts by those on ignore. Eventually, I would restore them to full status.

I never put anyone on “ignore”. I just cut their heads off instead.

What is your method of decapitation? Sword? Do you want me to loan you one out of my handy dandy Samurai sword collection?

Whatever this thread is turning into, it is not in any danger of becoming boring! Tight ends, naked posters, decapitation, slip n’ slide, nude slip n’ slides with men with tight ends but no heads?

And I will remember never to debate with the wild child’s mother. I don’t have many things completely intact on my body anymore, but I’d really prefer to keep my head. Though it may not be on straight!

I believe it is croquet with pink flamingos. I wish we had a smiley for the queen of hearts, and then MOWC could use that one when she posted.

I am usually philosophically opposed to smileys- sort of like {{hugs}} :)
