Is CSOM harder than liberal arts?

I was wait listed at CSOM and was wondering if i applied to arts and science that I might have gotten in.

Yes it is.

Did you really have to ask? It’s definitely more difficult to get in, but not enough to change their decision from waitlist to accept.

CSOM is definitely more difficult to get in on the grand scale of things. However, you see weird stuff happening every year with someone who is over qualified getting rejected and vice versa, so there really is no telling.

Did you really have to ask? It’s definitely more difficult to get in, but not enough to change their decision from waitlist to accept."

What the hell, NYU stern being waitlisted could mean you could have gotten into regular nyu.

Well, it looks like you just answered your own question. Let me give you a follow up- If it weren’t for Mcintire, what would be of UV?

But really, the case of UV is dissimilar to that of BC because I believed I already said “It’s definitely more difficult to get in, but not enough to change their decision from waitlist to accept”. Apparently, you did not get the point, so let me clarify- the quality of the other academic departments at BC is on par, if not better, than that of Carroll. Therefore, admission/rejection/WL from one does not necessarily spell a differing decision from another.

I can’t say the same for NYU.
