<p>I got a scholarship at RMU in downtown chicago and it would allow me to go there for free for my first year. The school has everything I want. It’s diverse, has the major that I want, and its in an amazing city. But my parents dont want me going to college in chicago because it’s “dangerous”. How can I get them to change their mind? Is downtown chicago safe? Is uptown chicago safe? I was thinking of moving into an apartment uptown after my freshman year to save money. Are there any bad places in chicago that I should avoid?</p>
