Will I ever need to double side print any documents, papers, essays, etc to hand in?

I may probably need to print some stuff for personal use doubelsided to save space but will anything I hand in need to be printed doublesided? Or from another standpoint, do professors generally prefer one page per sheet or is doublesided printing fine in most cases?

I’ve never had a professor require students to print something double-sided. Most do it just to save paper.

I’ve never had a professor require that either. You may want to ask first before you do that anyway- I’ve had some specifically tell us not to do so as it can make things more difficult to read.

Most professors I have had do not prefer duplex prints, especially of essays. I do utilize duplex printing on articles and other things that we are required to print off for our own references, saves a ton of money.

You could always manually duplex the pages. First print off all odds, flip the pages around, then print out evens.

I love duplex printing. It saves paper and storage space and reduces weight to carry.

I’ve never heard of a professor requiring duplex printing. I do much prefer it though typically. If you have a 20 page paper, duplex printing makes a pretty significant different in the thickness of the stack. When you’re printing out source from journals and such, having double sided printing is great.

I don’t have a duplex printer at home, and when I’ve printed my sources out here, I’ve ended up with a stack of essays like an inch thick. If I print them at school though, the stack is a lot lighter, and more manageable. All that paper can add up to a lot of weight.

I’ve also never heard of a professor requiring double sided printing. In fact, one of my professors fall quarter specifically said to only print essays single sided. I still like to do it for study sheets and stuff to save paper, but as RacinReaver said you can do it on a normal printer pretty easily.

I usually print out the power point slides the professor uploads, and always print double sided. That being said, the only time I’ve had a professor request double sided printing was when my english professor wanted me to make a crossword puzzle to keep her kid entertained.

Also, if you’re wondering, bring a printer to college.
