Is engineering the most lucrative science major?

Undoubtedly, engineering encompasses the hardest majors in the sciences. That’s why I also wondered if that’s why it’s also lucrative, and can open many gates to your career? Is the future of engineering majors (who don’t fail and succeed) more appealing than other pure science majors?

I wouldn’t say engineering majors are the hardest science majors. I’m double majoring in computer science and physics, and the physics coursework far outstrips the computer science coursework in difficulty (of concepts, at least. comp sci is a lot more work). In fact, that is the distinction I would draw between engineering and other sciences… harder work as opposed to harder material. And yes, engineering degrees will generally get their recipient more bang for their buck.

Many people agreed on this many times already.
