<p>As far as I know, Brown supports an open curriculum, which allows students to design their own majors and take their own courses… then again, is English still required for graduation? more specifically the writing courses…</p>

<p>There are no general requirements at Brown. If two professors report your writing as inadequate, you have to take a writing course.</p>
