is everybody in your frat/sorority your friend?

is everybody in your frat/sorority your friend? i mean do you like everybody in it. they claim to be your brothers/sisters.

I personally do like everyone in my fraternity. I’m not as close with all of them as I am with some obviously, but you still are friends.

wat happens if after u join u find out they’re not as good as they seemed and u don’t get along w/ them. can u still quit? wat r the costs of a sorority, is it xpensive?

thats what the pledge quarter is for. If you dont get along with them then you can depledge.

You can always quit. Of course not everyone will be your best friend but usually everyone will at least be civil.

I am in a small fraternity, and know everyone but I would not call them all my friends even though they are all my brothers. Just like with any other organization there were be personality conflict. But overall I like everyone and hang out with those that I am closest to, which are mainly in my own pledge class.

Not everyone will be your best friend if you join a sorority but they will be there to support you when you need it. That is what I have experienced. But once you are initiated you can’t join another greek house so make sure during your pledge period that you REALLY love your house and the people in it! BEST OF LUCK!!

"wat happens if after u join u find out they’re not as good as they seemed and u don’t get along w/ them. can u still quit? "

you don’t have to live in the house if you don’t want to. you can always get an apartment on your own. once you’ve finished pledging and you’ve crossed, then you’re forever a member of the fraternity/sorority (unless they kick u out for extreme circumstances). but even if you’re forever a member of the frat/sorority, the level of participation you decide to put in is up to you. you can basically be a member and not do anything or attend any functions, in essence, “quitting.” however, if you don’t pay your fees, then you’ll probably be considered “inactive” and probably won’t get the same benefits as the “actives” do, but if u quit, you probably didnt want them anyway.
