Is excessive unit disadvantageous for CC student?

I know all colleges have maximum transferable units or courses.

And students in 4year-college with excessive units like 70 or 90 are highly disadvantageous

because admission officers will think "Why is this dude applying for us? He’s about to

graduate his school already, just stay there!"

But how about a CC student?(2year institution of course)

I wanna dip in various areas of study like intro to computer, art, speech or etc.

CC’s cheap tuition is giving me a chance to do so.

But I need to spend approx. 70 units with IGETC(Californian GE system) + GE from each

different college(mostly stack with IGETC, but some doesn’t) + Econ prerequisites for each

different colleges in 2 years.

If I attend courses that interest me but not included in GE or prerequisite, the units will

rise up to 90~100.

I don’t care how much credits my dream colleges will admit, but will my excessive units

be disadvantageous in transfer process?

Or will the admission officer consider me as a challenging student like the ones taking AP

in high school period?(I mean, can it be advantageous?)

It doesn’t matter how many credits you have when you are applying. Colleges have rules on how many credits they will accept from 2 and 4 year institution. Usually 60 and 70 respectively. They also have minimum number of credits that a transfer applicant must complete at their institution to graduate. So let say you are applying with 80 credits then only 60 of those will transfer. And you will still need to complete another 60 or more at their institution to graduate.
