I have a scholarship to GWU which is contingent on me getting a 3.0 every semester. I need to know that it is relatively easy to get a 3.0 if I am to go to GWU because I can not afford to go to GWU otherwise.
thanks :)

p.s.- i have a cumulative weighted GPA of 3.85

Your high school WEIGHTED GPA is only a 3.85?

What’s your unweighted GPA in high school? If your unweighted high school GPA is barely a 3.0, maintaining the same GPA in college would be harder.

College is harder than high school. Math is harder than some liberal arts. Thus, you might be cutting it pretty close to get a 3.0.

Either plan to study a lot and get sample tests from the SA. Hire a tutor if needed. Talk to your professors throughout the semester and check your grades throughout the semester.

What high school classes brought your GPA down that much?

If you avoid the subjects that are your weaknesses, and plan to focus on school-- not having a job, internship, or many campus organizations-- during college, you might be able to do it.

It’s not impossible to get a 3.0 GPA at GWU. I’ve got a 4.0 GPA, and have a job. If math is your strength (it’s not mine!), you might be able to get that 3.0 that you need here.
