<p>Did CB every get back to you on the bisector question and or the wording of the Clovis ice age questions? Just wondering. After getting the QAS booklet for May’s test, I tell you this was the most bizarre SAT I ever saw. Im getting my actual answer sheet on this one for sure.</p>

<p>If you ordered the QAS, the very last page of the booklet, there is another form to fill out, of course they again charge for this, you can order your actual answer sheet, although it is a photocopy of yours, at least you can see what you did answer, versus what the report says you answered. I know on mine, AT LEAST 15 were marked wrong, when I KNOW FOR sure I did not answer wrong. So either youask for handscoring, which you need to call them, and they fax you the request form, or you do the above. Have to decide either for hand score or the answer sheet, either way, its gonna cost $$.</p>

<p>I did indeed get the test booklet, and I noticed that ETS actually CHANGED the wording of the Math question I contested in producing the final booklet. Apparently, they must have gotten my phone call or e-mail, looked at the question, and chose to revise it quietly to make it valid, all without telling anyone, including me. I have still NEVER gotten responses to the test question concerns I had for the May 5 exam. Of course, it would be much more difficult for me to prove that the Math question was actually flawed now, but I feel like making a big stink about this anyway on principle (even though I got the “correct” answer anyway and received a perfect score). (There were one or two CR questions on the same exam that I still believe to be slightly flawed, but the Math question was plain WRONG.) I have found both ETS and College Board to be notoriously unresponsive to test-taker concerns, particularly challenges to its questions. For example, I am still challenging one of the Writing questions on the June 2 SAT as we speak, but I had a very difficult time initially when I e-mailed the purportedly official e-mail address to send test question concerns (<a href="mailto:satquestion@info.collegeboard.org">satquestion@info.collegeboard.org</a>). I have sent about SEVEN e-mails to the address since June 5 and never received a single response. It was only when I used the fax number this past Friday and faxed my letter four times in a row and threatened to alert the news media of their lack of responsiveness that an ETS staff person called and e-mailed me back. Atrocious!</p>
<p>There are other gripes I have about ETS and College Board, such as the sometimes rampant cheating and poor proctoring on the SAT and SAT Subject Tests that cheapen the value of the scores and hard work of all the honest test-takers. I learned recently, for example, that a friend of one of my students cheated off of another student during the Math 2 Subject Test and received a 790 on his exam. That was MY student that he unfairly benefited from!! Incidents like that infuriate me, since my students and I work so hard to improve and achieve their scores LEGITIMATELY and some punk who probably hardly studied is receiving scores of 2200s and high 700s by completely flouting the rules. I intend to start a campaign (a personal one, at least) to have their test proctoring and test review procedures revamped to better protect the interests of the test-takers.</p>
