Is golf a "rich man's" sport?

Maybe it’s a club where you have to have a house there to play. That would be the only logical way. Someone willing to throw down 1.2 million for a membership is lacking a bit of intellegence. Does anyone else sense a ■■■■■?

It takes a special lack of perspective to live in a family with a dad that rich and not consider yourself risk. Or just being a ■■■■■…

^ agreed .

Tubbies, while I appreciate your modesty, you are rich. Your dad works for Goldman Sachs, for crying out loud!

As someone who eats, sleeps, and occasionally plays golf, I can tell you that $1.2 million for a membership is not ludicrous.

I could also tell you that paying such a hefty sum for a membership and then saying you’re not rich IS ludicrous.

If I were to tell you for some entirely irrelevant reason that I was ludicrous, then, being ludicrous, I certainly must be lying, and therefore I am not ludicrous at all.

Sorry. Couldn’t resist the temptation of paradox.

george lopez plays golf…

So what’s the class status of those who minigolf?

cool people like your mom.

No, because that would imply that it is a sport.

Any sport where a guy as unfit as Jon Daly can be considered a star is not a sport. Like a comedian once put it, you take the swinging out of golf and it’s basically walking.
