As of right now I am a undergrad pursuing the following -
Major: Information Systems
Minors: Business
Information security
Information technology
Arabic
Would having this many minors hurt me? I am interested in all areas of study regarding those programs… and Am in my second year with a 4.0
If you can complete these all in four years, then go ahead. Not enough value to a 2nd, 3rd, or 4th minor to make it worthwhile to stay longer in school. In my opinion. The fact that two of the minors start with the word “information” suggests they overlap quite a bit with the major and might not have a high value added.
I am expected to graduate on my 5th year, you would say its not worth it?
Having minors that are essentially nuances of the same subject is like having a wardrobe of Tshirts in different shades of light blue-- no one but you is going to notice the difference.
