I’m an AP and Running Start student- I listen and engage in all the lectures, find interest in the classes, and put thought into essays. But when those that score 2400s on the SAT hype about the Ivies they’re applying to, it makes me feel like UW Honors isn’t for me. I have a driving passion in a few subjects, but not a sliver in others. I love to learn, listen to stories and anecdotes, research, and just simply delve more into topics. But, I procrastinate lots and never made it into NHS.

I’ve heard UW Honors isn’t like HS- there’s no excess work for no reason, and more of the educational side and higher learning experience. Is that really true? I do want to learn and avoid the 800 student lecture halls, but I don’t want to sacrifice my life for it.
