I recently applied to the University of Pittsburgh and I marked the Swanson School of Engineering as the school I intend to enroll in. However, I am having second thoughts about maybe enrolling in the Dietrich School of Arts and Sciences but I can not change my application, as it has already been submitted. If I were to be accepted by Pitt, could I choose to enroll into Dietrich or would I have to enroll in Swanson and transfer to Dietrich? If that is the case, how long would that take? Also, does the school I mark on my application affect my chances of getting in?
