Is is true that if you get a D or a F, any college will kick you out??!!

That’s what I heard. Omg, now I’m so scare cuz I’ll be attending college this fall!! Is it true?!!

PlEaSe Do NoT FeEd The TrOoL

Yes, colleges all around the world have decided they no longer want students, or their stupid tuition money.

They way they figure it, if they can keep each graduating class to 1% of its former size, they’ll be able to lay off most of the professors, and since they should get donations from alumni still, and state funding, they’ll just use that money for lots of heroin.

It’s all part of the college conspiracy.

No man, definitely not true

…

…

Its actually a C or lower that will get your kicked out instantaneously

C is definitely not consider “failing.” I don’t think what you are saying is true.

Yes, they kick you out and they take your birthday.

I wonder why they differentiate between Ds and Fs if they’re just gonna kick you out for getting one? It’s not like you’ll ever try to continue your education after getting one, so it doesn’t really matter which it is…

Maybe a D means people won’t throw rocks at you when you walk down the street, just spit at you.

At some schools, you can be put on academic probation or something similar. Look up the policy at the university you will be attending. Although if you consistently manage grades such as those (especially in core science/math/etc. courses), you are not putting yourself in a good position after graduation for employment or entrance to grad/med/law/dental/pharm school.

They punch you in the face and pee on your Longchamps.

Colleges will feed you to ■■■■■■ if you receive any grade below a B…

At my school, Ds and Fs aren’t the worst you could do…we have Ts too.

Colleges are businesses. If they kicked everyone out who got a D or F, or for their first strike with booze, they’d go broke.

You can pretty much get away with alot of things these days, especially in these hard economic times.

It depends on the course too. If you’re a history major taking calculus III for fun and failing that then I don’t think they’d care.

Here we have FU’s.

Yes actually this is true. Congress recently passed a bill saying any student entering, or currently enrolled in an accredited university in the United States that receives a D or an F for a final grade in any course must be expelled.

No, you will not be kicked out but you may be placed on academic probation if you have more then one failing grade, or less then a 2.5 in some schools. If you are on financial aid, they may drop your funding if you do not achieve up to their standards.

FAFSA and many other scholarships require you to maintain a 3.0 or higher and not receive any failing grades. Most people that are kicked out for bad grades are due to not receiving aid.
