Is it a bad idea to graduate early?

Here is my situation: I transferred to my current university (NAU) from a California community college last fall with an associate’s degree (only fifty-nine units transferred however) without incurring debt as my parents paid out-of-pocket. Because I am scared to death of not finding a job immediately after graduation (history major) I have been working hard to graduate as fast as possible, this has stopped me from having a social life. I will have ninety-five hours by the end of this semester; I can take five more units at my previous college during the summer (only sixty-four units are allowed from CCs). Should I take the remaining twenty units during the fall and graduate then or take it easy, make connections and graduate during the spring? (note that I am borrowing $12,000 per year to attend NAU)

You couldn’t have transferred to an in-state UC or CSU that would have cost less than NAU?

Given that you are piling on the debt at a relatively high rate at NAU, the case for early graduation becomes stronger than it would otherwise be.
