<p>Hi, I’m writing about an even that I thought was an end of the world, but turned out to be be a good thing. It’s one of the essay prompts for MIT. Is it a bad idea if I write about my deferral from Yale EA? I’m not actually going to say Yale, I’m probably just going to say “a top school” Other than that, I think I can write up a nice essay about the topic. is this ok?</p>
<p>i’m gonna go with no. just a personal opinion, but i would not write about a deferral from another school. to me that’s just bad in so many ways.</p>
<p>I would say no as well. This gives them the definite yes that MIT is not your top choice.</p>
