is it a good idea to comp out using subject test?

<p>My son is thinking about studying and taking the SAT II Chemistry test. He’s had gifted chem but couldn’t fit AP Chem in his schedule. He wants to see if he can get a high enough score to comp out. If he doesn’t score high enough then hopefully he will have learned something he can use when he takes the classes.</p>

<p>Chem Sat II
for at least a score of 680 credit for CHEM 1211K
for scores of at least 730 credit for CHEM 1310</p>

<p>If he can get a high enough score, is it a good idea to comp out or not?</p>

<p>I’ve got credit for chem and I’m retaking lit in June so that I can get credit! No point retaking classes that you can do already, I guess! Incoming freshman here, in case anyone didn’t know :)</p>
