<p>Is it bad if my Common App activities essay and the 500-word essay overlap?</p>
<p>My 500-word essay talks about FBLA; my activities essay talks about tutoring (which was inspired by FBLA.) Both, however, indicate my desired career path.</p>
<p>Though these essays discuss different activities, would it seem too one-dimensional if both ultimately show why I want to study the major I’m choosing?</p>
