Is it bad to have a lot of....?

<p>Is it bad to have a lot of clubs where you were a member for only a year? I just moved to a new high school, so it was impossible for me to continue my old clubs. Besides there were plenty of new clubs so I joined those. Will admission officers think I’m doing this just so I can fill up my EC’s?</p>

<p>Probably, if there is a huge discrepancy b'twixt the number of clubs last year and this year.</p>

<p>On the stanford app, do you have to put how many years and which grades you were in the club?</p>

<p>Of course you do. Every app I have seen makes you do that.</p>

<p>only list the most prominent... i think i've been to a few meetings of like 20l... but im only involved heavily in about 5</p>
