I got rejected from my two #1 schools, and waitlisted to my 3rd favorite one. I’m just thinking of not going to college at all. Is that bad?
Depends on what you do with your life instead.

@AroundHere I was planning to major in Computer Science. I got accepted into Sacred Heart, and Manhattanville. Those are my best schools that I got into. I also got into all of the Connecticut State universities.
A few comments:

Do you think working part-time for amazon is really a career path? If you don’t go to college that is fine, but I would look into learning a trade where you can earn a good living, get benefits etc.

Assuming they are affordable why don’t you think Manhattanville, Sacred Heart, or the other schools you got into can provide the education you need for a CS major? Just because you are waitlisted at your top choice colleges is no reason to throw in the towel on a college education.

Also on May 1 I believe that a list of colleges with openings comes out (NACAC I think it is called) so look through that.
Go over to niche and look up all the schools you were accepted into and scroll to the section on majors. Do any of them graduate more than 50 CS majors per year? I have to imagine at least some of the Connecticut state schools have decent Computer Science offerings.
What’s wrong with the colleges that accepted you? Are they unaffordable? Don’t they offer CS? Are you worried about how prestigious they are?
@austinmshauri I agree with you. I think my issue is that the colleges I got accepted into are not that good/known. I was aiming towards going to a fancy university, you know?
@austinmshauri Mville gave me a $20,000 scholarship, so I’m technically going there for the low. I might accept Mville’s offer.
