Is it best to do a practice test right before day the AP Lang Test??

Well my test is next Wed.

I heard some people said it’s best to relax the day before the test, but I also want to hear more opinions.

Should I take a practice test just right before the day just to prep myself one more time? Or relax and get it out of my mind?

Which is better?

I am debating over the same thing. I took a practice test yesterday and it went wonderfully, but the one I took today was not so good. I don’t know whether or not I should do another tomorrow.

I certainly won’t be writing any essays before the test tomorrow. I trust that i have learned how to write essays, i have done well on them, and i will be able to use the same skills during the exam. However, the multiple choices i am usually better at towards the end, after i get into it. I have several single passage ones – I might take some full-length or longer ones after school tomorrow with friends, but I am saving my two single passages. The 14-question one i will take like the night before, and a 6 question one i will take the morning of right before the exam, to get me thinking.
Had i done worse on my practice tests i took today, i might be more nervous. But i got two 47/54’s today, so I’m feeling pretty good ;)

I’m sure we’ll all do fine, for both APUSH and Bio the actual test multiple choice was easier than all the practices I took

Which practice tests do you use?

I’m just reading some news, stories, etc. It’s relaxing and gaining me some more worldly knowledge that I can potentially pull out tomorrow.

Relax. At this point, APLAC is natural ability. You can either write, or you can’t. You either have reading comprehension and rhetorical analysis skills or you don’t.

Just take it easy and maybe review some of those vague rhetorical terms e.g. asyndeton

… and I see this right after the ap exam… LOLOL…
