okay, so I’m 22 now. I entered college right out of high school (at 18) and since being in college, I’ve been experimenting with a lot of classes to see what peaks my interest. I’ve taken a lot of science and liberal arts courses and now I’m taking a lot of business courses. I transferred to 3 different schools since, and now I’m back to where I started… still clueless of what I want to do.

Fall semester has just begun and I’ve almost exhausted all 4 years of my tap grant. I still have a semester of TAP left because during one of the semester, something happened and I didn’t get it. Now it got pushed to this semester. I think I get 6 year of PELL grant which I am very fortunate to still be getting.

I currently go to a 4 year business oriented institution and I am dreading the experience. I am not enthusiastic about the subject (my grades sort of reflect that), I haven’t made any friends (granted, it’s a commuter school, but I do try and put effort), and I can’t see myself happy doing accounting work or stepping on people’s toes in the corporate world.

So, with that, it leaves the question- Should I drop all my business courses and take this semester off and think long and hard and maybe even volunteer to see what I like before going back? if so, will I lose my TAP or will it get transfer to the spring semester if I plan on going back to school then? What about PELL? Before you tell me to speak with my school, I want to know your experience with this.
