Is it better to apply earlier for Grad school?

<p>I applied to a different graduate program, but as far as I know Michigan doesn’t have rolling graduate admissions. The advantage to applying early, of course, is that you can check and make sure all of your materials arrive before the application deadline.</p>

<p>I have to say…Michigan’s application was by far the longest and most annoying of the seven I completed.</p>

<p>Gee IBclass06, Michigan had a long and annoying application? I assume grad school was a breeze compared to it. LOL.</p>

<p>Euro- Every other university I applied to required just one essay (a personal statement). Michigan required a diversity essay and personal essay in addition to the personal statement. The application was also much longer and went into more depth about things like finances than the others. </p>
