<p>Is it better to get like a 650 on both m and cr or like a 750 on m and a 550 on reading if you want to major in like economics or finance?</p>

<p>If you want to major in finance you’d better get a high math score!!!</p>

<p>If you’re going to do hard science, then the reading score will not be that important. Likewise, if you want to major in English or Classics then your math score will not be that important. For some majors, it’s best to have an evenly spread out score. (Maybe a double major of International Studies/Business would need both high reading and math scores.)</p>

<p>If you are indeed planning to major in Econ, then get a good SAT I Math score and be sure to do well on you SAT II Math.</p>
