What are the pros/cons of getting a master degree? Is it better to spend two years getting a masters or two years working for a company?

It depends what the work is. If it’s Taco Bell then take the master’s degree. If it’s at Berkshire Hathaway then forget school.

You have to factor in where you are working and promotion chances. In those two years you would have lost two years of income, you would have to pay for school and you probably would have been promoted in those two years, so you have to consider if its worth it from that point of view. If you want it as a personal goal, money can’t buy that. If you need it to move up or change careers, then masters is the way to go. Depends on what you want.

It also depends on what your major is.

I’ve heard that getting a Master’s is the best financial move… better than a Bachelor’s (probably on average) and better than a PhD too (on average).

Master’s mean NOTHING/HOLDS NO VALUE in finance. People go back to school after bachelor’s degree because they weren’t able to land a job.
