Is it difficult to archieve 18 In ACT

THat s why I choose ACT because of ACT do not have verbal section instead of SAT and another reason for the ACT is because the new SAT seems harder than ACT, but I m not sure about it, if anybody has more imformation plz post THX

Your best bet is to look at a practice test. Most people here are speaking from their point of view. Take a look at a test and decide for yourself if it’s hard or easy.

Yes I think that could be a good idea

Here is a free practice test:

Very good links elizabeth thx a lot

Pintudao: I would try Princeton reviews ACT book. It is very good. I used it for the SAT and scored decently. I would assume the this of the ACT book also. I have taken the ACT twice, and I believe that you will have no problem getting an 18 on the test if you use this book, or anyother prep book. What are you the worst at? Science? English? Math? Reading? I can help you out a little better if I know your strengths and weaknesses.

Also, take a practice ACT test and see what you get. That way, you will know what you need to study.

For English: You can go to this website and check out some grammar rules:

If i can find some good math/reading/science websites for you, i will post them…

THx neelesh your information really help me and thx also for the tip of the book I will import it cos here in brazil is difficult to find, I m looking foward to see the other links soon … THX everybody of this forum… all of you help me…

Was searching through cc for advice on prepping for ACT when I stumbled upon this forum. Very nice links. Thanks!

PINTUADAO,

I honestly think you can get a 30 or even more, with determination and proper preparation and practice.

Good Luck!!!

an 18 is really easy to get PINTUDAO…don’t worry about it…the first time i took it with no prep what so ever i got a 26…but i’ve heard that if you guess on most of them, you can still get a 17? don’t know if that’s true, but if an 18 is what you’re aiming for…there’s no need in worrying

Ohhh THx all of you I m praying for me to archieve 18 on the ACT my luck is that here in Brazil the ACT will be given only in april so I have a little time to study, I have another question how long of preparation is good for me do well the ACT?

I have about a couple of weeks for preparation for the ACT Assessment and I’m trying to get a 34 composite score. You have about 3 months. What I would suggest is not to stress… Just set a resonable margin and try to do well.

THX h88 but now my time changed and I m going to do it in february because if I fail I have another change to do it in april do you think it is better than I take it only in april??? advices are welcome thx all

I don’t see how taking it both times could hurt.
