Is it easy to get into a US public grad school?

<p>Im an atmospheric science major at UCD and I wanted to get a masters in that is it easy to get into UCD or UCLA since there is not a lot of people in that major?</p>

<p>I don’t think that’s the right way to look at it. If not many people were interested in an area, there might be proportionally less faculty. I doubt there are many students in Eastern European Studies but I’m sure the competition is absolutely fierce to get into grad school.</p>

<p>I thought the UC’s didn’t offer terminal academic masters degress (only MBA/MSW)</p>

<p>I could be wrong, though</p>

<p>I know both UCLA and UCSB have tons of students going for a terminal MS.</p>
