…considering that i have a 3.4 UW and 3.9 W, a 1940 SAT score and a very bad junior year gpa? well, as everyone has told me, i have to reach for the stars with this one, but hey, i’m giving it a shot. does anyone else think that i’ll be rejected in a heartbeat?

I think it’s a reach, yes, but so many other things are factored in. For example if you have glowing essays or teacher reqs, it can help.

EDIT> So I wouldn’t say there is no hope, but you also shouldn’t count on it either. But that’s true for almost anyone.

ooh. good question. i have about the same stats as you boss529. i think that it’d be a reach too, but you never know.

Yeah, it’s a high reach, but you’d have no chance at all if you don’t even apply =] good luck!

Aquamarinee is right. You are a long shot, but long shot does not mean no shot, only a failure to apply does.
