So, when I took my SAT in May, I got a score of 1720. With true honesty, I could’ve done better. But I am very tired of the SAT, and I want to move onto the ACT. I am seriously trying to get into NJIT, and if I (fingers crossed), get above a 33 on my ACT, is it good enough, or at least have an o.k chance of getting into NJIT?

Note= GPA of 3.05 (not the best, but I worked for it)

this is the wrong forum…
i don’t think colleges will really care if you “worked for it”
and crossing your fingers isn’t going to get you a 33…

I agree. I just said that to help my ego but that won’t get me anywhere. I am not just crossing my fingers, I’ve been preparing more than I’ve done for my SAT.

I say with that 1720 NJIT should be a low match if you are instate. Good luck!

Thanks! will try harder

1720 is not bad at all for NJIT, a little low but near 50th percentile. Also matters what your M + CR for, especially if you are going for engineering. Try parchment.com to get a sense of how much of a match you are.

Will do, I am trying more for Computer Science btw. Thanks!

hey man, sorry if i sounded harsh… it’s just that i went through the same thing so… i just wanted to help you
