Is it good to contact admissions counselors?

I'm applying to a university for Early Decision in the fall, I just visited this university. Should I contact my admissions counsel? Does this demonstrate interest? If so, what should I say in the email to her?

Thanks

I have a friend that got into Duke and would always email/call his admissions counselor, updating her on what he was doing and that he was really interested in the school; he got in and thinks it definitely helped him in getting in.
You can email her and tell them that you visited and are really interested in the school, maybe ask her a question or two (make sure you dont ask anything you can find on the website) and see where it goes, doesnt hurt you in any way.

Did you meet/interview with this person while on campus?

It might help if there's an actual reason for you to start a dialogue. Usually good to write a thank-you-for-interviewing works best, if it's honest that is. But, yes. Do keep up a dialog with the admin person, just don't over do it. It's a delicate balance.
