Is it hard to get extra time for the ACT?

I have an eye issue that used to have me on this extra time plan thing at school. However, it was recently taken away (not sure why) at the beginning of my junior year. I still do believe that i need extra time, but is it hassle to get? Because when i ask my mom to see if she can get it, she tells me it takes a while and isn’t worth it. I got a 28 with normal time, and because the ACT is more of a time management test, I feel that I can score insanely high with extra time haha. How hard is it to get?

Off topic - when it comes to getting into colleges, how would say a 33 ACT and a C+ average look?

To answer your second question: it would look like you’re a naturally intelligent person who didn’t apply himself fully during high school, not a very favorable view.

no offence but a C+ average unless you havent taken non AP course is going to hurt your chances at almost every top 50 college.

Someone at my school with a 33 and a 3.0 GPA got declined from every good school he applied to except for a local state college. GPA = important.

Well I go to a top 100 school, and i have a good story (upward trend, 87 average junior year)

Score isn’t the only important thing. You can have a really high score but a low GPA kills it.
