Is it hard to get into upenn from cuny?

<p>I currently attend one of cuny colleges and I want to get my ph.d at upenn.</p>

<p>My major is mathematics and at our school, we don’t have any research programs for math.</p>

<p>So right not, i have like no extra-curriculum…</p>

<p>but, my gpa will be about in the range of 3.7-3.9 </p>

<p>What should i get on my GRE, so i have at least a chance to get into upenn. </p>

<p>And any advice for EC?</p>

<p>And should be like in top 5 of my class in order to get into upenn??</p>

<p>If not, what about Rutgers? </p>

<p>Oh, btw If i do BS/MS program for math, would this put me in a better position to get accepted? since I’ve done some grad work?</p>
