not that I’m expecting a magical jump in a score, but after using a princeton Sat prep book for about two hours, just focusing on the Crit. Reading section, I managed to answer a few prac. questions. To my dispair, no progress appeared to be made. I at least expected a small boost in my moral…
Is it just me?
-Does time spent preparing and experience play a larger role in boosting scores?
-will I expect a significant boost of my score by busting my butt over the next two months? (trying to raise from 2010 to the 2300s)

experience with the SAT is always the most important thing to have. Don’t worry about your score, it will improve if you keep studying.(CR is the hardest by far to improve) However, to ensure that you improve after practicing, I would suggest going over the answers you got wrong in the explanations section and fully understand it.

Skittleman,
I agree with secondarrow2. CR is the hardest to improve. Try to read as much as you can, and organize what the paragraph is saying in your head. Just keep practicing that, and you can be able to recall the passage from your head and answer the questions really quickly.
