Is it Lilkley that since I have been denied from Ohio state that I will be denied from penn state?

I got denied this morning to Ohio state university… I thought maybe it’s because they weight your act score more than psu does which is only a 26… although my weighted gpa is a 4.1. I applied to penn states college of liberal arts and Ohio states arts and sciences. @jlhpsu

Now I’m freaking out.

They don’t weigh the different criteria the same.
Hopefully however you applied to more Universities than these two.
What state are you a resident of?

Florida and yes I have already been accepted to multiple other universities.

Part of it is also maybe tht Ohio state asked for my UW gpa which is only a 3.4 but my W gpa is a 4.08… bcz the UW gpa does not take into account the 20 + AP/Honors classes I have taken.

College admissions are very hard to predict. My daughter was rejected or waitlisted at schools (UConn/UDel) that had lower rankings than the ones that accepted her two weeks after she applied (PSU/Wisconsin). My son did not get into Ohio State, but did get into PSU. Great that you already have acceptances and, again, unfortunately you won’t be able to guess what happens with PSU until it actually happens.

Are the other universities affordable?

Indiana Alabama and ucf

Fsu and UF have not come out yet

But are they affordable (can your parents pay from savings and current income)?

Penn State may admit you to a regional campus.

Yes… But why I don’t live in Pennsylvania

You’re not a resident that’s why I’m asking if these universities are affordable.
You won’t get branch campus due to your 20+ Honors/AP classes (that’s a key factor along with grades: 2/3 of the decision, vs. tOSU where it’s less than half I think).
