Is it me or has time seemed to have IMMENSELY slowed down?

With Berkeley, NYU, and U of C (making up 3 of my 4 reaches) not having notified applicants about their decision, I feel like I’m watching sand falling in an hour-glass…

I’m waiting on 2 of my 4 reaches (Cal and U of C) myself…

I have a feeling that we’ll get U of C decisions only a day before Cal now.

still waiting on 13, just about all reaches. Time has slowed down, but it’s going to pick up awfully fast…

I don’t know if time slows down or if extra hours are inserted into the day. As a mom, I know that it took at least six hours between lunch time and when my son called me at work with the mailbox results at about 3:15 - when he got home from school. Hang on in there - the dice have almost settled, and soon it will be YOUR decision time, and the colleges can wait.

Indeed, My measurments show that you have reached 99% of the speed of light.

Time is going backward for me…

Time…???

yea all i have left to wait for are all of my reach colleges!!! i hope i will have answers (moreso, happy answers) next week in the mail…

this must be the worst part of senior year. even worse than doing the apps themselves, because we at least had control of the process while filling those things out. but now, we’re just sitting here completely helpless and waiting, waiting, wai … zzzzzz

Hey vagrant star, its just you… your watch battery evidently is getting old ;)

This all depends on your view of time. In the universe I have to say that time is infinite due to the fact that it comproses all real numbers and since all real numbers are infinite and uncountable, then obviously time is all infinite. If that is the case, then time cannot slow down.

However, to the view of humans one can say that time is discrete or countable. Meaning that it is a bijection. I say that because humans cannot count to infinite since in our view of time, it exists only until we die. OR at least we think it does unless we believe in God, but that extends into teh realm of theology ahd philosophy. In a purely mathematical sense, since our “time” on earth is limited, it is a discrete and countable set. Therefore, time depends on our perspective and it can slow down or speed up.

Wait, that’s assuming if we are counting by natural numbers for the discrete set.

Wow. Patience, guys.
