<p>We went to Phuket in Thailand and had a couple of souvenir t-shirts with the work phuket on them. Took me a while to figure out the double takes. On the one hand one should not be ruled by other peoples odd take on some things - on the other if you are made uncomfortable by their reaction don’t wear it. I was a chicken and stopped wearing them. The ph in Phuket is pronounced P by the way .</p>
<p>I must admit when i see the F.C.U.K it always strikes me as meaning the other word.</p>
<p>I would just go ahead and not wear it because it obviously offends some people and if someone has not heard of the brand, they will likely either be offended or have a negative view of you for wearing it.</p>
