Is it ok if I'm late for a campus visit ?

Hey guys,
I know this is a weird question but is it still ok if I’m late for a campus visit that I already signed up for ?
Is it a sign of not showing enough interest in the school?

Please answer thank you :)

Think about it. Do you think the particular college has a rule in place that blackballs all latecomers? Heck, they’re going to hand you $10 worth of shiny brochures, hoping that you’ll apply.

You are WAY over thinking this.

Well, if you are going on a tour, then I wouldn’t be late. The tour group would leave without you. If you are going to a meetign with a professor, they blocked out that time for you. Is there another session later in the day. It won’t affect your application, but I think it is a bit rude.

On all the tours I’ve been on, there’s been at least a few people who either came late and caught up with us, or left in the middle. Not a catastrophe (definitely won’t affect your chances) but don’t expect the tour to wait until you arrive.

Like ilovemyblacklab said, if you’re meeting with someone, then it’s a bigger deal.

If it’s an information session, just slip in and sit in the back. No one will notice.

thanks a lot guys :)
