<p>My EC is about swimming while my essay is about my ethnical heritage. Would it be okay if they were different instead of the two going hand-in-hand about the same topic?</p>
<p>they are supposed to be on different topics…you should use these two places to convey the 2 strongest sides of you</p>
<p>It is highly highly recommended that they be about two different things. You want to use every opportunity you have to allow the adcoms to get to know you better. It is a great way to show them that you have a dedication to more than one thing</p>
