<p>I went to CC my first two year. Since i was rushing to get out of CC, i took heavy load of classes and transferred with a 3.0 cumulative. Now, I’m at UCLA with a 3.6. Are my chances over?</p>

<p>1.) It is basically impossible for any single event to ruin your chances at medical school. What happens is that the rest of your application is held to a higher-and-higher standard. If you have bad grades, excellent EC’s, interviews, MCAT scores, and work experience will help offset those considerably. Vice versa for everything else. There are very few things you can do which will single-handedly demolish you.</p>
<p>2.) Most of the premeds on here tend to stress out about things which are not even remotely close to being worth worrying about.</p>
