Is it possible for me to get into Clemson University?

<p>Hey, so I am a high school junior and I’d really like to go to Clemson for college. I’d probably choose Accounting as my major, but if I had to I’d enter undecided. Judging by others’ stats I’m not confident that I could enter. I believe I can get my GPA up. Also I’m from out of state, I don’t know if that helps or hurts.</p>

<p>GPA:3.3 (should be able to get it up to 3.5) (unweighted)
SAT: 1760 (first time, no prep)
Math-630
CR-550
Wr-580
Lots of ECs
Know many alumni
Academy of Finance Member
Math League Member

<p>Have you looked at the stats for last years class at Clemson. Just from what people around here say (in SC), I’d say that CR+M=1180 may be a little low to be a shoe in, especially if you are OOS. So put some prep time into SAT!</p>

<p>Edited: class entering 2012 - OOS SAT average was 1268.</p>

<p>Thank you, I am starting a rigorous SAT prep course that focuses on CR+M next week and am hoping to get above a 1900. </p>
