<p>After I get my BS double majoring in math and philosophy, I truly want to go to either Harvard, Yale, MIT, or U. Chicago, preferably UC to get my masters and then my Ph.D in economics. Do you think it’s possible for me to go to any one of these grad schools?</p>
<p>It’s more so how you perform in college than where you exactly attend. Does your undergrad institution play a factor? Sure. But without a solid GPA, solid test scores, amazing letters of recommendation and other misc factors that make you stand out, you won’t be admitted to those institutions.
If you’re truly passionate about entering schools like MIT and Yale, plan on taking a full course load and earning a solid 3.9~4.0 your entire undergrad while still participating in the various extracurricular activities, especially leadership roles.</p>
