I was thinking of double majoring in systems support and network administration. Many of the classes are the same.

Sure. Just meet with a counselor to make sure that you can fit all of the requirements for both degrees into your schedule. If you want to complete both sets of major requirements as well as the general ed. requirements for your A.A., you might need to take some summer classes or an extra semester.

NO CC’s don’t do officially recognized dual majors. An option that should be available is an AA in one and a certificate in the other.

This may vary by state. At Happykid’s CC, plenty of students complete more than one major program. However, I don’t know what their diplomas list the specific majors, or whether they just read “Associates of Arts/Sciences/Applied Sciences”.

In the end though, the only one who is likely to care what the wording on your diploma is will be your mom who will want to frame it and hang it somewhere in the house. What will matter to you, your future employers, and the colleges/universities you apply to as a transfer, is the specific coursework (and the grades) listed on your transcript.
