If Expected family contribution> cost of attendance , any chance to get aid?

It’s possible to get merit aid at some schools. Generally if you are at the top of their accepted students stats or perhaps for other attributes like artistic, musical ,or athletic ability. If cost is a factor for you check out the threads on merit aid - there is a ton of info there.

also – if you are eligible and you file the FAFSA, all undergraduate students are eligible for unsubsidized stafford loans (the amount you can borrow is small, I think freshman can borrow ~$3500).

some schools also offer work-study to all students, regardless of your need
